Bass Lessons
I teach music by guiding students to connect with their imagination and emotions through sound and rhythm. My approach is personal and flexible, shaped around each student’s interests, experience, and musical goals.
Together, we develop a strong foundation in rhythm, harmony, technique, tone, and musical awareness. These essential skills give students the confidence and freedom to express themselves naturally through the instrument.
By exploring different genres, techniques, and approaches, we begin to discover what resonates with us while finding a sound and style that feels personal.
Lessons are held in person at a South Slope, Brooklyn music studio or online via Zoom, for individuals and groups.
Lesson Structure
We use different tools to learn songs, explore bass lines, and create your own. Each lesson combines technique, practical theory, and ear training to help you grow as a bassist. Most importantly, we spend time playing music.
